In late September an unusually powerful, slow-moving, early-season Nor’easter slammed the East Coast. I drew the short stick to check on the status of our family’s beach condo. Little did I know that the flood that consumed our complex would be a harbinger for the blue wave that would wash across the U.S. on Election Day.
